How to overcome setbacks..!!

What is a setback? Who decides it a setback? Everything is decided by us, we’re the one who decides what we need and we’re the one working for that, and we’re the one who decides a setback. When everything is done by us why should we feel demotivated? It is us who decide our needs and wants so why not try it over and over again till we succeed in it. If there are no possibilities for succession then why not try something different. Remember, trying something differently doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re a loser, it simply means you’re ready to work tirelessly.

Failure is inevitable. Let’s face it. No one is perfect in fact, perfection is a sort of thing that does not exist. Everybody faces failure at one point in life, and we all know that it helps us grow intellectually. Whether the setback is large or small, it isn’t elementary to get through it. You will have experienced failure numerous times, and it comes in all sizes and shapes from losing a promotion to business failure. Failure sucks. The idea of being failed may prevent you from trying to start with. When you know it is an inevitable part of life, you should not dwell in it. Instead, you should find ways to overcome it. #Inspired

You cannot learn from your failure unless you take responsibility for the missed opportunity. Do not blame others as it is your life, and you made the final decision. Always remember that to err is human, and a rational person continuously learns from their mistakes. The best technique to reduce the intensity of your grief is by preparing yourself for the letdown. Life is unpredictable, and it can throw a curveball at any time. #Inspired

It is undoubtedly disappointing when you do not achieve what you want, but your pain will let up if you look at what you’ve learnt and how will it help you to be better. If you are prepared mentally for an unpleasant situation, it will not be as shocking as you will have it in case of throwing your caution to the wind. Do not need to mourn over your failure. You should instead acknowledge, learn from them and try not to repeat those mistakes down the road. #Inspired

Fear and doubt submerge you when you face defeat. Dark clouds of negativity stick to your mind, and you feel disappointment all the time. It is not as easy to bounce back from failure as seems, but you can do it with a positive frame of mind. As you lose something, you begin to question your ability. Your mind floods with doubts and self-criticism that you fear to try new things the next time. Recovery takes time. To speed up, you need to fight with all negative thoughts. #Inspired

What you think you become, and what you imagine, you create. If you follow this mantra, you will quickly conquer your failure. Fill yourself with positivity: think that you are born with potential. You are born with dreams and ideas. You are born with wings. you can fly. If your one idea fails, it does not mean you cannot give it a try the second time. Failure is your past. Do not let its shadow cast over your future. To have a positive mind frame, you need to be surrounded by a positive atmosphere. Do not lock yourself in a room where you come across nothing but dark and negativity. #Inspired

Have a conversation with people who are close to you and who can see you through. Moral support from your friends, siblings and parents play a paramount role to build positivity. It will help if you learn from those who have gone through the same phase as you are facing now. You have to know how these people handled setbacks. A positive mindset is not enough to conquer failure. You will have to find ways to rectify your errors. If you want to get out of it, you will have to acknowledge the problem and find ways to deal with it.

Adapt yourself according to the situation!!!

We all know life is all about utilising the opportunities we get, but sometimes we availability of opportunities would be very low, that is when you have to make up your mind to adapt yourself. When the situation is bad and you don’t have many options to opt, the only way to overcome it would be adapting to the situation, adjusting the needs and expectations and accepting the change. Once when you practice this habit, life becomes simple and interesting. Interesting is because you’ll face new challenges and you’ll learn new things.

Many times in our lives we trained or studied for something for months at a time and it all came down to the moment of truth and something happened that threw us off track. You can either throw your arms in the air and give up or adjust accordingly and see if you can make the most of the situation. Our ability to adapt to the situation depends on our behaviour. By staying positive, we can come up with ways to address the challenge we’re facing. However, if you get frustrated, you’re most likely to fail at it. #Inspired

It all comes down to how much you and if your sacrifices can be thrown out the window. Some people take more time to adapt, while others can easily adjust and move forward. However, there are many situations in which time is of the essence, where if you hold back a little, you’ll miss out on the opportunity. But at the end of the day, the outcome is less important than the fact that you did your very best to adapt to the situation. The experience you gain goes a long way. #Inspired

We cannot avoid it and the more we resist change the tougher our life becomes. We are surrounded by change and it is the one thing that has the most dramatic impact on our lives. There is no avoiding change as it will find you, challenge you and force you to reconsider how to live your life. Change can come into our lives as a result of a crisis, as a result of choice or just by chance. In either situation, we are all faced with having to make a choice #Inspired

It is better to be prepared for change because we have more control over how we react to the change we are having to face in our lives. When you are unprepared and resistant to change, then you have no control or choice as to how you want to live your life. You live your life as a reactionary rather than an activator of change. We cannot avoid unexpected events in our lives, as it is these events that challenge us and force us to step out of our comfort zone. If we ignore or hide away from the challenge of change, we deny ourselves the opportunity to learn and grow. #Inspired

“To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.” —Henri Bergson. Our resilience in life can only grow stronger when we embrace change and manage these challenges in a positive way, rather than hide away and ignore the opportunities that change can bring to our lives. There is no escaping the impact that change can bring into your life. Managing change in life is key to living a life where you are not only surviving but thriving as well. #Inspired

“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything”.— George Bernard Shaw. We like to live our lives in our comfort zone. Our subconscious likes this because it is the “known”. Embracing change is stepping into the unknown and our subconscious will do not like the “unknown.” so it will resist. But if we try to make up our mind and adapt according to the situation and get out of our comfort zone, we’ll be boss else we would always be the employees for a lifetime.

Do what intrinsically motivates you!!!

Doing things that intrinsically motivates you is very important, we should not do anything just for the sake of doing something. If you feel something is not right, better don’t do it. Do what you love and love what you do, so you’ll give you’re best in whatever you do. “We live only once, so we should do what we love without any hesitation” I’ve used this line a couple of times in my previous articles. Nothing is going to change the fact that we live only once, but what matters at the end of the day is if we’re happy doing that.

Intrinsic motivation comes from within yourself. It is the motivation you get from simply enjoying something. Think of your favourite hobby. What drives you to do that? Chances are you do it because you’ve found something you enjoy and feel that you are or can be good at. “Human beings have an innate inner drive to be autonomous, self-determined, and connected. And when that drive is liberated, people achieve more and live richer lives”. – Dan Pink #Inspired

If you make yourself believe in your capability to do something, you can end up being more motivated and enjoying it more. After all, it’s pretty hard to enjoy something in which you’re not comfortable. A good way to make yourself believe you can do something is by accomplishing tasks that are like what you want to achieve but smaller in scale. A good method for doing this is setting small goals that are challenging but have a high chance of accomplishment. Challenging yourself can increase intrinsic motivation. #Inspired

If you can get curious about something, this can also lead to increased intrinsic motivation.¹ There are a lot of things you don’t know, regardless of the topic. By diving in and giving yourself a taste of what you don’t know, you can pique your curiosity about those topics, leading you to want to learn. If you are motivated because you enjoy doing something, rewarding yourself or getting rewarded can diminish that enjoyment, making your motivation dependent on these rewards. If that reward is then removed, you may find yourself no longer wanting to do an activity that you enjoyed before. #Inspired

Think of something you want to accomplish. Can it be broken into smaller tasks, one of which can be done in the next half hour? This task could for example be research, organizing, planning, or a small practical job. Choose a task, and go to work for 30 minutes to accomplish it. You might not finish the task, but you’ll have started. Now that you know you can start something, you’ll be more likely to want to do it again. And once when you do this a few times, it then becomes a habit and changes into a lifestyle. #Inspired

“But I don’t want to,” you might say. Nobody said motivation came easily. You’ll have to work for it. It’s worth it, though, because that initial motivation can snowball, and soon you might find it hard to stop working. People want to be accountable and that making sure they have control over their task, their time, their technique, and their team is a pathway to that destination. For everything you accomplish in life, you need motivation. #Inspired

If not I was intrinsically motivated, I wouldn’t have started writing blogs. Yes, I had lots of grammatical errors in the beginning, but it started reducing slowly, even now I wouldn’t say that I am hitting pinpoint accuracy in writing, I still commit mistakes but not to the extent when I started it. Also because I was intrinsically motivated, I complete two years of blog writing with this article. All these were possible only because of determination and intrinsic motivation, so if I can do something, why can’t you? Just believe in yourself and go for it.

Always keep your hopes alive, miracles can happen anytime!!!

Keeping hopes alive is one of the best ways to push ourselves to achieve the goal. Most of us have goals to achieve and plans to execute to achieve the goal, if one of the plans doesn’t work out then we expect, we simply give up rather than fight and start working on a new goal and the execution plan to work out the new goal. This process is continued in a loop until we achieve one of our goals, but why shouldn’t we keep our hopes high and work on the goal with a different plan and achieve it?

Regardless of what is currently happening in our lives, or not happening in our lives, regardless of what we see, or what we don’t see, what we feel, & through the many uncertainties of life, one thing we can always choose is to have hope. Not the world’s definition of hope which is more so a wish, but the biblical kind of hope which is the confident expectation of what God has promised. Everywhere we look, there are negative reports filled with hopelessness, despair, anxiety, & fear. #Inspired

This is a time unlike any other & what many are desperate for, is hope. Hope is not something you can see but it’s something you carry. Hope is like a breath of fresh air. Hope illuminates the darkest places. Hope is like turning the light on in a dark room, it sheds light on everything that was already there but previously couldn’t see. When you carry hope, it’s contagious, it overflows, and it affects everyone, everything around you. Hope inspires. Hope ignites.
Wherever there is hope, things grow, things thrive, there’s life. #Inspired

Have you ever been in a situation where everything seems not to be working well? You have tried to make ends meet, worked hard for a very long time to better your life. All efforts seem to be vain as you keep experiencing little or no results. You feel like you want to quit. Perhaps you don’t want to try anymore. The more you try, the more it keeps failing. You’ve thought to yourself countless times, “oh, life isn’t fair”. But trust me only if you try, try and try you’ll succeed. #Inspired

When you go too fast, and try to think, eat, talk and move around in your world quickly, things don’t work out too well. Stress builds up. Negative thoughts about anything start to spring up, and your strength decreases. But if you slow down just for a few minutes and take one step at a time, then your mind and body calm down too. It becomes easier to think things through vividly again and easier to find the optimistic and constructive #Inspired

When it looks as if something great is leading you one step closer to the top, you reach for it. The helping stone you expected your hand to meet suddenly fall through, leaving you hanging. It’s during this point of the climb where hope appears non-existent. More importantly, you are faced with two decisions. Begin the long climb back down. Saying goodbye to your dream, shaking your head in the disappointment of even attempting to climb for something so far out of reach. Or make hope your resting point. #Inspired

In this place, you give your arms a rest. Work up the strength to reach and hang on for even longer than before. Test to see which stones are weak lessening the chances of falling. In hope remind yourself that you don’t know how many times you’re going to have to reach but you refuse to climb down. Lay your head to rest on hope, and awaken letting the rays of hope kiss your heart, as you prepare to push forward. When you feel like you’re exhausted, tired out, or lacking motivation from the climb, pause for a moment to realize how far you’ve already come. To satisfy the hunger for fulfilment, hope is the only food you’ll need.

Never get distracted, always focus on your goals!!!

In order to unleash your goal, you should only focus on the goal and do not get distracted by what others might think or others might feel, it’s your life at the end of the day and you’re satisfaction is important. People might come to throw some random comments or suggestions and leave, it’s up to us to decide what they said matters. If you consider it helpful take it as a suggestion and work on it, else simply IGNORE it and carry on with your traits. It’s your satisfaction that is important at the end of the day.

Keep Your Eyes on the Prize. Every person has their reasons for why they do certain things. When you have a goal in mind, it’s this motivation that can keep you going when times get tough. When you set out to accomplish something, write down why you are doing it. That way, when it comes to potential distractions, you can look back and remind yourself what you want to achieve and get motivated again, this process should be continued over and over again until the goal is accomplished. #Inspired

Focus on Specific Tasks. To-do lists can become long and overwhelming. You may have more than a dozen things you need to get done. Try to narrow down the list and prioritize based on deadlines and importance. That way, you can limit your list to 2-3 things a day so you are more likely to get them accomplished. Look at your list and see if accomplishing any task will make getting another one done easier. Do that task first so you can reap the benefits of its domino effect. Life is always meant to be ups and downs, but it’s okay when things don’t go as you expect. #Inspired

Get Them Done ASAP. The less you procrastinate, the more you can get done. This is obvious, but what’s not as obvious is how much small decisions can drain your energy. If you can, try accomplishing tasks as soon as you can so that the other trivial elements of your day don’t get in the way. If a particular task is meant to be completed, get it done without delaying it and make sure it’s not affecting all the other schedules. Once if it starts affecting the schedule, then you’ve to work on the entire system again. #Inspired

Break it Down. Many goals take time to accomplish. For example, writing a book starts with writing a page. Earning your degree starts with finishing a course. When you break your goals down into the steps they take, you can chip away at completing them without losing sight or motivation. Breaking up tasks makes life much easier to focus on what’s the exact need and get it done. So, create a goal and start working on breaking the goal into tasks and pat yourself after completing every task. #Inspired

Control Your Inner Talk. You’re often your own worst enemy when it comes to doing what you have to do. This is because your inner self-talk can be distracting. However, practice and accountability can help here. For example, if you set up a dedicated place to do the same work every time, then the moment you position yourself there, you’ll be more likely to focus on why you are there. But eventually, it will take time to control and set things up, but that is where the dedication comes in. #Inspired

Practice Focus. Attention is a practice and discipline. You can achieve it by utilizing techniques and practising meditation and mindfulness. One technique you can try is the Pomodoro Technique, set a timer for 25 minutes and work on your task without distraction. Then, take a 5-minute break that is also timed. Then, go back to focused work for another 25 minutes. That way, you can work in highly focused sprints. And you can increase your focus on a task and eventually reduce getting distracted.

Utilise the opportunity once when it knocks on your door!!!

Important life-changing opportunities don’t knock on the door often, it happens only once and we have to be ready anytime to utilise them before it gets vanish. Feeling for a lost opportunity will never fetch you a new one. Stay awake and beware all the time of what’s happening around you. Life is all about being happy and doing the things that make us happy and the fact is we live only once so it’s better to experience all that life gives us and enrich the quality of life we live. Stay happy, spread positivity and love all the time.

Along with every person in this world comes different personalities, dreams, likes and interests. Not everyone likes frosted flakes or the movie saving private Ryan. When you think about it, it’s hard to find one thing that everyone likes or has in common with each other. One thing that every person looks for though is opportunity. Whether that opportunity is in the form of advancing in your career, getting a tryout for the sport of your choice or freedom in general. We all want the chance to be able to achieve all of the goals that we set for ourselves. #Imspired

After setting those goals and starting on your journey you need to make sure you’re prepared for one key thing. When opportunity knocks you need to make sure that you are ready to open that door wide open and not just look through the peephole! Stay Ready Don’t Get Ready.
Having that opportunity that you’ve been waiting on your whole life presents itself and you not being ready should never happen. Remember these moments should never be taken for granted because they aren’t promised to come around again. #Inspired

No matter how big the task is be ready and prepared to conquer the situation at hand. Roll up those sleeves and let your mind know that it’s time to get to work. Welcome that challenge and don’t run from it peeking around the corner. By the time that you get through peeking, the opportunity will have knocked on the next door and be receiving a warm welcome from the next person. Also, prepare and position yourself so when you look back in life you won’t have any regrets on lost opportunities due to you not being ready. Look in that mirror and smile and say got dammit when the opportunity came I was ready, prepared and succeeded! #Inspired

Fear can sometimes be the reason that you miss out on opportunities. Fear that you will fail, fear that you aren’t the right person for the task or fear that now isn’t the right time are all obstacles you must get over. You are going to fail and be rejected more times in your life than you can even imagine. Shake those failed 10 times off though and be ready when number 11 arrives. I promise you, sooner or later good news or fortune is going to come your way. Have your hands and heart open to receive it when it comes. #Inspired

In a world where everyone wants success, only a few do the right thing and grab the opportunity that life gives them, to achieve it. A few achieve success because they are the ones who always remain ready for all kinds of challenges. Opportunity always knocks on the door during the most hectic of the days. It should be you who should be ready to give a warm welcome to the opportunity and do your best in the same to take full advantage of the opportunity. The way to success starts when the preparation and opportunity meet. #Inspired

Success is the fact of achieving wealth, respect or fame as a consequence of many factors such as setting a goal, working hard for it, patiently and wittily looking for favourable circumstances or resources and then making the best use of the occasion. Think, believe, dream and dare. Say YES to all of the opportunities and figure out the strategy and the required plans afterwards. Being a coward is not an option if you want to be a successful man in your field. Achieving anything in life is not as easy as it seems.

It’s a century!!! – A personal milestone to celebrate!!!

It’s now officially been 100 weeks since I started writing. The ultimate purpose of writing initially began to improve my writing skills and the reason for selecting self-motivation as the topic to write was to push myself an extra mile to read my writings and motivate myself, also the one’s who read would find it helpful by connecting the scenario to some point in life and feel motivated. Life will always not go by the way we expect, rather we should adapt to the situation and consciously think about the purpose of why we’re doing it.

I would like to share my life journey on this auspicious occasion. I am a very average student in studies, got a decent mark in my 10th grade and scored very low in my 12th grade, somehow managed to get into a university at the very last moment due to lots of chaos. Then the next three years went well got a decent CGPA and passed out from the university. Since I only did a bachelor degree in computer applications my mum wants me to do a master’s degree and I also felt that in the modern market it was necessary to gain some knowledge.

Deciding on what to study was fairly simple, after completing the bachelors in computer applications I decided that am not technically strong, and I’ll never gain technical knowledge even if I force myself since I had no interest in it. So a Master’s in business administration was the only potential option left, fortunately, I had an interest in management and my previous work experience taught me a lot about management. Hence I decided to pursue masters in business administration.

But I was not ready to do a Master’s immediately after my bachelors. Hence I decided to work for a couple of years so that I can earn some money and experience and also I needed a break from studies just because I was studying for a long time and I was not as good at studies. Getting a decent job was not easy again, it took me almost 6 months since I was also preparing for a competitive exam simultaneously to pursue masters. Luckily I got an offer from a good IT company.

And I decided to go with it and still prepare for the exams (I was not concentrating 100% in studies since I wanted to focus on my work). I use to start preparing for the exams only 3 months before the date of examination (Maybe that would have been the reason why I couldn’t clear the exam). Nothing was going in the way I expected it to. The exam consists of 3 sections one for English, one for Quantitative ability and the Final one for Interpreting data and logical reasoning. To be honest I was able to clear the section two and three easily comparing section one. I am a very slow reader due to which I was not able to answer the questions on time hence I found it hard. And that’s the reason why I decided to start writing blogs to improve my skills in terms of reading and writing.

But even then I was not able to clear the cutoff. I was worried since years were passing and I couldn’t make a progress in life. Then all of a sudden one fine evening I had a chat with my colleague at work and he was explaining and giving an idea to me about doing masters abroad. He also gave me a contact and asked me to speak to check the possible country’s that I can travel to and the college’s that I can choose, which I consider the turning point in my life. Yes from then on I decided to pursue it in the UK because it is good in terms of business education and also I am a huge fan of Manchester United (England based football club).

Then I spoke to the consultancy and started collecting all the required documents, and started applying for the universities which accept my profile. Fortunately for offers from two Universities and I selected the best out of the two, but then the pandemic happened and due to which everything started getting delayed, the offer letter was released late, due to which applying for a loan was late and the loan sanctioning delayed. And because of all these delay’s, I was forced to differ my couse to January (which was originally starting in September).

Then one when things were sorted I applied and got the Visa, and finally travelled from India to the UK and currently am about to complete the Master’s degree. From this, I would like to let all of you know that this is not to show off that I am in the UK, but to let everyone believe that hopes and dreams do come true. I didn’t hope or dream to do Master’s in the UK but I always wanted to do my masters due to the above-mentioned reasons I was not able to do that in India, but I didn’t lose hope due to which I ended up doing a master’s in the UK. “If I can do something, you can also do something which you’re aiming for, constantly keep working towards it and keep your head still. Never lose hope.

An interesting fact is that I started writing blogs to improve my writing and reading ability to do my Master’s and today am in the final class of my Master’s, which makes me feel something to be proud of myself.

Special thanks to all my readers, who push me, motivate me, criticise me, to bring the best in me. At least one changes their attribute for their personal development after reading this, then that would be a real success for me.

With much love – MS

Focus on the process and not on the result!!!

The result is something that we’ll be achieving over a point in time, but the process is something that we would go through to reach the results. Results and the possible outcome is going to be the same over the point in time, but the process may vary from time to time and we should have the capability to adapt according to the situation and needs. If we fail to adapt according to the situation we’ll not end up with the result which we’re expecting. So always remember to take one step at a time and forget the results just make sure that you follow the process of reaching the results correctly so that the rest will fall in place automatically.

It is easy to think that what you need to attain extraordinary success is to focus on results and use these results to measure your progress. However such application of a principle is far from optimal. There is more to success than just looking at results without understanding that at the end of the day it comes down to your consistency and the process involved in getting the job done. One step at a time will make life easier, will also help us to stay focused and everything achievable #Inspired

When you start focusing your attention and energy less on the results but rather on the processes or the techniques involved you discover that you learn faster, are more successful and even happier at the outcome. Altogether you gain more in life when you focus on the process rather than the results. As humans, we are not always satisfied with our present circumstances. We all have needs and wants that are endless that we have the pressure of achieving results always hovering over us. We believe that only through results can we secure a pathway for a better future. #Inspired

Mistakes are part of existence as no one is perfect. Mistakes help you learn and grow in life. When you are focused on a specific desired result you are less willing to experiment or take risks that may just propel you to a better outcome than the one you were aiming for. Success is a journey rather than a destination. When you are focused on the process you are excited about being in the present and enjoying it more fully. You are engaged and you want to dig deep at those opportunities and avenues you can because at the end of the day it becomes about learning faster and gaining experience. #Inspired

Let’s face it, there is the pressure when it comes to delivering results. You want to prove a point and you are sort of steamed to cut corners if you have to just achieve results. When you focus on the process you eliminate the noise of external factors. There is less pressure. It is not about winning or losing but it is about gaining mastery in whatever desire you are pursuing. You are not disturbed. It is not about satisfying the external factors but rather about conquering you. #Inspired

Focusing on results puts you in partial control of whether you reach it or not. Things are working against you, time, health, support group, competition… the list is endless. You just have to deliver. But when you do not have the challenge of getting results hovering, you have an internal locus of control that leads to higher self-esteem, empowerment and all together with with with a success. This gives you a more meaningful life. There is happiness in enjoying the fruit of your labour. That is what focusing on the process gives you. #Inspired

Things in life may not turn out the way you want to but you are happy that you dedicated yourself to the process and won within. There is no point in predicting your success on only a specific outcome, this will only lead to frustration and disappointment. Rather than allowing your happiness to be contingent on you attaining a particular result, let your happiness be dependent on how much you have worked to reach your goal. So focus more on the process and less on the result to lead a happy and successful life.

Responsibilities will help you achieve your goals!!!

Inorder to achieve something you should take up the responsibility of working towards it. Only a responsible person keeps moving forward, and a person who doesn’t posses any responsibility tends to remain the same forever. Life is a roller coaster ride, you’ll have ups and downs, but the one who hangs in during the toughest times will survive and achieve the goals whereas the one who loses hope or give up inbetween will fail to succeed in life. So, if you think you don’t have any responsibility then this is the right time to sit and work on it and start moving towards it.

We all have been overwhelmed from time to time by the amount of items on our “to-do” lists or by what we perceive as responsibilities that feel like mountains to climb. Often, we don’t complete tasks or meet goals when we feel discouraged or defeated, or generally weary. It is possible to attain your realistic goals by following a simple rule, always break your goal down into manageable, achievable action steps. Baby steps that you achieve, however small, will create a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment and will encourage you to keep going. #Inspired

The first thing is to choose something you might commit to. Something you intend to do. Something that you have an appetite for making happen. Something where it matters to you if it happens or doesn’t happen. When you’ve chosen the thing, make sure you’re clear on exactly what it is you’ve chosen to commit to. If you’re not clear on what you’re going to commit to, you can’t really say if you’ve committed to it or not. You might have just committed to something nearby. #Inspired

Remember that only you can choose what you commit to. There are an infinite number of possible variations and committing to something means committing to one. In order to do that, it pays to explore what you actually need from making this commitment. Which commitment you’d actually be able to stand by commit to, not just in words, but with your whole self. If it’s not something that you need to commit to, then don’t do it just for sake because you won’t really be able to commit to it. #Inspired

At this point, you have chosen the thing to commit to and you’ve explored it, defined it and tested that it’s true. The next step is just to sit with it. Spend some time concentrating on the commitment you might make. Not even trying to think about it. Not planning how to make it happen. Just spending some quality time with it. Pay attention to how it feels sitting with this potential commitment in mind. Making a commitment means changing your life. And having a thought isn’t the same as committing to something. #Inspired

Committing to something requires us to adopt a new reference point. It requires us to hold on to something that we weren’t holding before. And the first step in doing that is just to keep on sitting with the idea. Become familiar with it. Make yourself at home with it. See if you can feel what that commitment feels like. Imagine you’ve already committed to it and feel how it feels to have committed to it. The secret to taking responsibility is identification. Firstly, identifying what you might take responsibility for. Secondly, by identifying with that thing. Identifying with the thing is a way of focusing your attention on it. Concentrating on it. As if you were building up to committing to it. Building up the energy for that by deliberately staying with the thing for a period of time. #Inspired

Keep in mind that not every action step will produce the results you want and they won’t all feel particularly gratifying either. Note that the key is to take the step, honor it, review it, see if it is leading you the in the direction of your goals, and then either continue on in the same direction or correct your course and move forward again. There is no space or time for the inner critic that might automatically pop in to your head judging and analyzing your work. Small actionable steps are simply a logical process designed to help you meet your goals not an opportunity for long self-reflection or analysis at every turn. Small actionable steps keep you moving and focused.

Believe in Light at the end of the tunnel!!!

I’ve used this phrase “Believe in light at the end of the tunnel” a couple of times in my previous articles, and then I decided to write one now on this topic just because belief is everything that we can do, which is within our thought process, which we should trust, which is practically possible if we put in our efforts. When you give you’re best, the possible outcome will be the best. Irrespective of the results you’ll definitely have the satisfaction of giving you’re best, trust me that’s what all it matters by the end of the day.

Tunnels are a symbol of hope because no matter how dark it gets inside the tunnel, you know that there is going to be light at the end of it. So these positive words will inspire you to keep moving forward, work hard to achieve your dreams and be successful. Don’t lose hope because faith can move mountains, the dark days will end soon and it you will see the golden hour again soon and that is not far away, it’s very close so never lose you’re hope. #Inspired

There is light at the end of the tunnel, but first we must inhabit the darkness with complete faith knowing respite awaits ahead. The tunnel represents our life’s journey, filled with darkness. In such moments it’s natural to look for a way out, yet we should trust that a turning point awaits us further down the road. The darkness can be terrifying when we’re stuck, unable to navigate our way ahead. It signifies the inner struggle where in moments of despair we feel helpless. #Inspired

However, these are inaccurate thoughts that can pull us deeper into this darkened state. Trapped in a grim shadow of darkness can be unrelenting, given the cycle of suffering offers no respite. Yet, this is an illusion since we lose our place to the upheaval that surrounds us. When grief is at its heaviest and we are lost in it, it is so hard to imagine a light at the end of the tunnel. It can become very easy to just get lost in the dark. So find and hold onto hope whenever you can. #Inspired

It’s dark. Utterly, totally, pitch-black, can’t-see-your-hand-in-front-of-your-face dark. There appears to be no light, no direction, and no hope. At some point in our lives, we’ve all been there. Whether the result of death, divorce, depression, or a series of unfortunate events, finding the way out appears impossible. But remember whatever happens life has to move on, and belief is the only thing which we can do to keep ourselves pushing forward. Believe that we’ll have better days ahead. #Inspired

Your biggest mindset shift in life comes when you recognize the power behind the belief that you can and will make things happen in your life. This is palpably different than simply believing something is possible. It’s this mindset shift that will make the difference in happiness, success and every grand pursuit that you choose to make a part of your incredible journey. It’s how you see the power of faith and the way that it illuminates everything in your life that will truly color your thoughts, emotions and feelings. #Inspired

If you’re someone who believes you can do great things, don’t get too fixated on that belief of what’s possible. Make the mindset shift to convert it into that powerful belief that you can and WILL make things happen. This seems to be subtle, yet absolutely crucial shift in mindset will have life-changing effects on the way others see you, and most significantly, the way you see yourself. So believe the light at the end of the tunnel and go for it!!!
